☎️Device Configuration

You can configure devices for both iOS and Android, selecting the device, OS version, and locale.

In order to view or change your current Device Configurations, head over to the GPT Driver Settings. Once there select the Devices tab to display the screen as shown below.

When selecting the default device for GPT Driver, it's crucial to differentiate between two distinct scenarios: Test Editor Device Configuration and Cloud Device Configuration.

Test Editor Device Configuration

You can specify the device used in the Test Editor within the settings section.

Cloud Device Configuration

• To run tests in the cloud from the Test Overview, you must configure a device in the Cloud Device Configurations.

• Ensure that the chosen device matches the operating system of the build files you've uploaded.

To make modifications permanent, save the changes at the top of the screen.

Additionally, when specifying the device for tests triggered via the Test Overview, you have the option to select coordinates. This feature is crucial if you want the test to execute in a particular location.
